About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at AccentCare, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide music therapy services to patients in a hospice care setting, utilizing your expertise to create a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Conduct music therapy sessions, using a variety of techniques and instruments to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, using data to inform and improve music therapy services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university (or undergraduate equivalency program approved by AMTA).
  • Board Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable automobile, with minimum state required liability auto insurance.
