About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Music Therapist to join our team at AccentCare, Inc. As a Hospice Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients and their families in a hospice care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of patients and their families
  • Provide music therapy sessions to patients in a hospice care setting
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in music therapy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university (or undergraduate equivalency program approved by AMTA)
  • Board Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
  • State-specific qualification requirements
  • Reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and minimum state required liability auto insurance
