Job Title: Instructional Support Teacher

Join Achievement Prep Public Charter Schools as an Instructional Support Teacher and play a critical role in ensuring continuity of instruction, classroom culture, and school-wide systems. As a key member of our team, you will provide coverage in classrooms and support our network of schools located at Wahler Place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Substitute classes for absent teachers and provide long-term coverage for specific courses
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and school leaders on lesson planning and assessment
  • Communicate frequently with families of scholars you serve
  • Implement Achievement Prep's behavior system with fidelity
  • Support the facilitation of school-wide testing and examinations
  • Provide small-group tutoring and additional support in higher-need classrooms
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of K-12 school experience
  • Experience in underserved communities
  • Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Certificate (GED)
