Are you a skilled phlebotomist with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care? As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate lab results and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly and create a comfortable, trusting environment.
- Phlebotomy: Draw blood samples skillfully and accurately, following established procedures.
- Specimen Preparation: Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Data Entry: Accurately input patient information and lab results into electronic systems.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in data entry
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
