Position Overview:
The C&SC Senior Cost Management Specialist will oversee the assessment, communication, and enhancement of the overall cost structure for C&SC and its associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with site teams, Manufacturing Engineers, Design, and Engine Programs to pinpoint and implement initiatives aimed at cost reduction.

Your responsibilities will also include compiling and presenting cost commitments for NPI tollgate cost evaluations, redesign estimates, and establishing should-cost methodologies.

This role necessitates close interaction with Sourcing and Engine Program personnel to monitor and report on supplier costs and material impacts across all C&SC facilities and owned hardware.

Essential Duties:
- Act as the KPI owner for C&SC Cost Productivity.
- Collaborate with site finance and cost focal points to identify and successfully execute cost productivity initiatives across C&SC facilities.

- Define and implement standardized procedures, operational rhythms, and escalation protocols essential for executing cost productivity projects at both site and value stream levels.

- Lead efforts to establish and proactively allocate resources and funding for a multi-year project pipeline.

- Engage and secure support from external resources (e.g., Design, Sourcing, Engine Programs) to expedite cost productivity initiatives.

- Educate and mentor productivity principles to manufacturing engineers, product owners, and production teams across all C&SC facilities.

- Foster collaboration across sites to scale successful cost strategies and share lessons learned.

- Apply lean principles and participate in kaizen events to enhance production flow, product quality, and cost efficiency.

- Collaborate with Engine Program cost focal points to communicate drivers, opportunities, status updates, and forecasts.

- Define methodologies and tool development strategies for aPriori (PCS) and similar should-cost tools for C&SC hardware.

- Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Lean Kaizen events, providing insights to Manufacturing and Engineering to identify cost productivity challenges and develop plans to mitigate risks.

- Understand internal and external process challenges and recommend best practices to enhance products, processes, or services. Stay updated on industry trends that may influence work.

- Lead cross-functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and complexity.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or program/project management.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position is competitive and includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary.
