We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Assurance Senior to join our team at Aston Carter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audit and other assurance engagements, providing timely and superior-quality services that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit and assurance engagements, identifying areas of service and planning opportunities
  • Maintain relationships with key business contacts and clients, pursuing new business development
  • Develop skills for reviewing audit and assurance engagements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA required
  • 4-8+ years of Public Accounting experience
  • Experience in corporate audit prep/audit analysis - private companies
  • Tech Savvy – Experience with Tax/Audit software
  • Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft software applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Oregon CPA certification
  • CHH ProSystem software experience
  • Fixed Asset Software
  • Experience working within a mid-sized or large sized firm
  • Experience working with construction or non-profit client base - 50k - 1M companies
  • Experience with client acquisition
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site. You can report to any of our offices in Hillsboro, Salem, and Bend, but you must be able to report to these offices after the initial training period.
