As an Associate Chief Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role in leading our provider teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in shaping the medical care within our organization, while also contributing to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Medical Directors to achieve quality outcomes and productivity measurements.
  • Implement and oversee quality initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and review clinical policies, guidelines, and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the improvement of patient care processes and Epic coding to ensure accurate and complete coding.
  • Provide education, development, and mentorship to physicians and advanced practice providers, driving improved performance.
  • Assist the Chief Medical Officer in preparing reports for the Board of Directors, outlining quality assurance, medical audit findings, and provider productivity outcomes.
  • Act as a champion for Lean activities, promoting efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a Physician Leadership role.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records.
  • Current, or able to obtain, active unrestricted Oregon medical license.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodology is highly preferred.
