Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, ensuring correct portion sizes as per yield guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes and pots as required.
  • Prepare sandwiches daily for service, adhering to specified quantities.
  • Utilize slicing equipment for deli preparation, including slicing meats and toppings, and setting up the deli station as needed.
  • Organize the cold food section, including a la carte items and sandwiches.
  • Adhere to all health department regulations regarding safe food handling practices.
  • Provide respectful service to all faculty, students, and staff.
  • Follow all security protocols and guidelines specific to the client location.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies appropriately.
  • Adhere to scheduled breaks as assigned.
  • Assist in collecting and cleaning trays for dishwashing and participate in daily ware washing duties.
  • Store kitchenware in designated locations.
  • Contribute to team efforts, including assisting with inventory management when necessary.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions and maintain a positive work environment.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system daily and complete cashier sign-off sheets as instructed.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of all required training programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions.
  • Food Handler certification is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Proficiency in speaking and reading English to effectively understand and execute job responsibilities.
  • Consistently present a professional and positive demeanor.
