SBM Management is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee operations within the designated program. The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for managing both company personnel and temporary staff involved in various programs, including custodial services, clean room maintenance, recycling, relocations, and general upkeep. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and the demonstration of best practices in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks performed by team members within the assigned program.
- Facilitate training for staff on operational tasks, safety measures, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee daily work activities.
- Prepare written documentation, including pass down reports and weekly or monthly summaries.
- Conduct inspections for quality, service, and safety compliance.
- Manage inventory of equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor supply inventory and ensure proper management.
- Distribute equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ensure employees utilize personal protective equipment and other supplies correctly.
- Report personnel and customer-related issues to the supervisor.
- Address unsafe behaviors immediately and inform the supervisor without delay.
- Document and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
- Provide suggestions for improvements in areas needing corrective action.
- Maintain accurate records, including training logs, inspection results, and data collection.
- One to three months of relevant experience and/or training; a high school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle registered in the applicant's name are required, as driving is a component of the job (Mileage reimbursement is provided).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, time management skills, and training capabilities.
- Experience in leadership roles, cleaning operations, and bilingual communication is preferred.
- Responsibilities may be divided between multiple facilities based on operational needs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory experience are essential.
Compensation: $15.50 per hour
