Key Responsibilities
  • Work with multiple vendors, division staff, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical support/guidance.
  • Research and analyze complex healthcare data from various sources to evaluate, define, design, and implement technical solutions based on Federal and State Medicaid requirements.
  • Design and develop interfaces across Medicaid internal and external systems.
  • Create and deliver reports and metrics using SAS Business Intelligence tools.
  • Work with SQL queries to analyze data and create ad-hoc reports to support business needs and requests.
  • Validate input files and formats, architect output datasets, and validate data based on requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience working with multiple vendors.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid and/or MMIS.
  • Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with databases - Oracle, MS SQL, DB2.
  • Experience developing SQL queries.
  • SAS programming knowledge in SAS tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Single Sign On applications.
  • Knowledge of Client's system for login.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate small to large meetings.
