Key Responsibilities- Quality Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action: Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Customer Quality Requirements: Assess and deliver on customer-specific quality requirements, including KPIs, complaint processing times, and approval requirements.
- Quality Performance Evaluation: Conduct periodic evaluations of quality performance, including customer complaints, defective measures, and complaint response times.
- Training and Communication: Provide training and support to ensure awareness and compliance with quality policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to reduce scrap and improve working efficiency.
- Scrap Reduction Initiatives: Support and promote scrap reduction initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Poka-Yoke.
- Quality System Audits: Conduct quality system audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or AS9100 or IATF 16949 standards.
- Product/Process Validation: Conduct product/process validation through known approval systems/processes, including FAI, PPAP, and APQP.
- Education: Degree or HNC in Industrial, Material Science, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing plant environment in a Quality or Engineering role, preferably in an aerospace, military, or automotive environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of quality planning and implementation, root cause analysis, and corrective action. Experience with quality system audits, product/process validation, and process improvement.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
