Position: Senior Compute and Storage Server Engineer

Location: Cary, NC area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, strategize, execute, support, and uphold infrastructure solutions for computing, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Perform health assessments and troubleshoot incidents related to computing infrastructure.
  • Oversee automation and upkeep of infrastructure hardware endpoints to ensure peak performance.
  • Improve the efficiency and adaptability of current infrastructure.
  • Support the formulation of disaster recovery strategies and guarantee adherence to cybersecurity protocols.
  • Develop technical documentation and manage various projects concurrently.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in server infrastructure, virtualization, and hyper-converged infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery technologies; experience with Azure or AWS is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
  • Experience in automating server infrastructure tasks.
  • ITIL Foundations or Intermediate level certification.
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow.
