In the role of Veterinary Care Specialist, you will provide essential nursing care to our patients, adhering to the directives of the attending veterinarian. Your daily responsibilities will include educating clients, triaging patients, calculating dosages, administering medications, conducting in-house laboratory tests, placing tubes and catheters, monitoring patient comfort, updating clients on their pets' conditions, and performing various other tasks. This position demands strong technical abilities and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to both patients and clients. Flexibility in scheduling and a collaborative spirit are essential in our dynamic environment.

Qualifications We Seek

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program.
  • Current Veterinary Technician license in good standing.
  • Any combination of experience or education may be considered at our discretion.
