We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Vascular Medicine Physician to join our renowned Vascular Surgery Section at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS). As a Vascular Medicine Staff Physician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals facing vascular challenges.

Your Role:

As a Vascular Medicine Physician, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of non-operative care activities. You will manage hospitalized patients, oversee consultations, and guide all phases of ambulatory care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate, effective patient care that promotes health, prevents illness, and treats disease across the care continuum.
  • Foster professional relationships with patients, families, and your healthcare colleagues.
  • Participate in hospital committees, contribute to staff meetings, and help mentor upcoming medical professionals while ensuring quality enhancement and adherence to VA protocols.
  • Engage in teaching and potentially conduct research that informs best practices and promotes superior patient outcomes.
