Ultrasound Sonographer Role
As a key member of the USA Clinics Group team, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, balancing patient needs with efficient office workflow. You will ensure patients receive excellent service.
This position is full-time, Tuesday-Saturday
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment plan recommendations.
- Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients and addressing their specific needs.
- Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
- Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans to ensure effectiveness and patient safety.
- Adhere to standard time allotments for each exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Collaborate with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure technician availability for timely patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain quality work and skills through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
- Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory for continued operations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
- Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or ability to earn certification within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
