Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Sea Mar Behavioral Health in Oak Harbor. The successful candidate will provide individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, with coursework in psychological diagnostics, and at least four years of clinical experience in the field. They will also possess an active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health and meet the criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.
- Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans, and lead groups.
- Assist the Program Manager in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks as directed.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- At least four years of clinical experience in the field.
- Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health.
- Meet the criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
