Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Food Services Manager with daily operational responsibilities, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure that all staff members are following proper opening and closing procedures, and that the operation is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Help to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Supervise staff to ensure that all cash-handling policies and procedures are being followed, and that staff are providing excellent customer service.
  • Relieve staff in assigned areas for breaks and lunches, and ensure that staff are taking regular breaks to maintain productivity and morale.
  • Monitor and enforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness, and ensure that all staff members are aware of and following proper food safety procedures.
  • Assist with training and performance management of assigned personnel, and support the Food Services Manager with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Work directly with customers to resolve any issues that may arise, and ensure that all customer complaints are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with some college preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in a fast-paced, large-volume atmosphere preferred.
  • Must have flexible hours and be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • General familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word required.
  • Food Service Sanitation Certificate a plus.
  • All successful candidates will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test.
