Knox BRIDGES Schools Master's Level Liaison Position

The Knox BRIDGES Master's Level Liaison is a critical role in providing counseling and liaison services to children and families in the Knox County School System. As a Master's Level Liaison, you will serve as the primary clinician, providing individual and family psychotherapy to children and adolescents ages 4-21 with a mental health diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions
- Provide advocacy, linkage, and referral services as needed
- Conduct mental health assessments and provide diagnosis and referrals as necessary
- Participate in IEP and other school-related meetings as applicable
- Provide parent education and support
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and progress
- Interface professionally with school personnel and other agencies to ensure seamless coordination of services
- Master's degree in Human Services or related field with coursework or experience in cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and intellectual disabilities
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in mental health service provision and leadership
- One year of experience preferred, with experience working with children and families
- Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure, communicate effectively, and possess good time management and organizational skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification required, with training provided
This position requires working in a school setting, with occasional services provided in homes, community, and office settings. The role is year-round, 40 hours per week, with regular attendance and reliable transportation required.
CompensationThe starting salary for this position is approximately $49,273 per year, based on relevant experience and education.
