About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead the UNM Welcome Center as an Operations Director. This is a key role in the Division of Enrollment Management and Admissions Office, responsible for managing the daily functions and operations of the Welcome Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the Welcome Center, including supervising professional and student staff.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract new students to the University.
  • Plan and execute events, including in-person and online events, to engage with prospective students and the community.
  • Represent the University to community members and stakeholders, promoting the University's mission and values.
  • Manage the Welcome Center's facilities and resources, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for visitors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, event planning, and public speaking.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a university setting, preferably in admissions or enrollment management.
