Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Engineer 3 to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a key member of our team, you will assist system owning engineers with the selection, application, and implementation of Cyber-based security controls on various network systems, particularly Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering acumen for the analysis and documentation supporting the Cyber Accreditation & Authorization (A&A) activities.
  • Act as a liaison with governing agencies that oversee the accreditation process.
  • Provide technical guidance to information system owners in evaluating security controls and requirements for HM&E systems.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Control System (ICS) or HM&E system design theory.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with various teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 5 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience; Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
  • DoD 8570 recognized certification (i.e., Security+, Network+, CCNA, etc.) preferred.
