As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale projects concurrently, cultivating strong relationships with clients, guiding and setting the pace for our internal teams, and demonstrating high proficiency in managing project plans, scope, and budget.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a related discipline
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Proven track record of leading multiple fast-paced, technical projects with full budgetary responsibility
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in software and hardware development
  • At least one (1) year of experience working on federally funded initiatives
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to build relationships swiftly
  • Facilitate multiple project/product meetings weekly with both internal teams and external clients (ownership of status, action items, risks, and next steps)
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure project success
  • Work closely with finance and contracting officers to develop and maintain program budgets, status dashboards, and deliverables in accordance with contract stipulations
  • Create, develop, and manage project/program scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure milestones are achieved
  • Identify opportunities and mitigate risks across programs with quantified impacts
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating a high degree of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated change management skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with a strong sense of urgency
DESIRED SKILLS
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
  • At least five (5) years of experience leading technical teams and/or managing software and hardware developers is preferred
