Job Title: Representative - Customer Service (Order Clerk)

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Representative - Customer Service (Order Clerk) to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process customer requests for quotations, orders, and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure excellent service and support.
  • Manage and coordinate order fulfillment, including receiving, sorting, and repackaging stock and defective products.
  • Assist in the assembly and packaging of frames for auto-kit mailings and maintain customer lists for these mailings.
  • Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and order status, and make changes to customer orders as needed.
  • Work closely with vendors to place orders, retrieve order status information, and follow up on customer quotations and delivery information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a call center environment.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure in difficult customer situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
  • Basic PC skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.
