Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading project work and engineering assignments. This will involve evaluating field and laboratory testing, performing field services, and communicating effectively with teammates, design professionals, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead project work and engineering assignments
  • Evaluate field and laboratory testing
  • Perform field services, including subgrade observations, pile driving observations, and installation of geotechnical instrumentation
  • Communicate effectively with teammates, design professionals, and contractors
  • Analyze and interpret data from field and laboratory findings
  • Review project billing and track time spent on projects
  • Safely operate and handle company testing equipment and vehicles
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts, or holds F.E./E.I.T. and ability to obtain P.E. within 1 year
  • Minimum of 4 years of related engineering and project management experience
  • Risk management training
  • Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Experience with computer software, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MathCAD, and geotechnical analysis programs
