Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Create and execute long-term sustainability and reliability strategies to meet future business needs.
  • Lead Maintenance Team: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance personnel, including salaried staff and support staff.
  • Manage Maintenance Budget: Oversee the department's budget, ensuring responsible management of assets and resources.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Implement safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and Monitor Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing industry setting, with a minimum of eight years of maintenance experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and manage high-dollar department budgets.

Working Conditions

This is a 100% on-call role, requiring the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The facility operates 24/7, and the Maintenance Superintendent must be available to respond to maintenance issues at any time.
