Job Summary

Grounded Electrical Construction is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our electrical construction projects from commencement to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee large electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Vice President of Construction, Field teams, Project Managers, and Office staff to achieve project goals.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as a liaison and point of contact with General Contractors, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Design and Pre-Construction: Participate in design development, pre-construction planning, and construction coordination.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure project progress and resolve issues.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality work by reviewing design documents, plans, specifications, and reports.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical construction.
  • Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, industry practices, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety requirements.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using software applications such as AutoCAD, Primavera Scheduling, MS Office Suite, Procore, and AccuBid.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
