Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring the highest degree of quality care and services.

Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments to residents, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of medication administration, including daily logs and medication records.
  • Communication: Collaborate with Resident Care Director (RCD) and Wellness Nurse to receive medication updates and ensure seamless communication.
  • Resident Care: Provide resident care while promoting dignity and physical safety, adhering to Sunrise Principles of Service.
  • Risk Management: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and British Columbia Workers Compensation Act regulations, promoting risk management programs and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: LPN licensure required.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Skills: Ability to make choices and decisions in the resident's best interest, react and remain calm in difficult situations.
