Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
- Maintain campus grounds, including mowing, fertilizing, and cleaning up debris
- Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and projects
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate an agency vehicle
- Knowledge of tools, materials, and practices used in a maintenance position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Building Maintenance Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor environments. The position requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
