Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AP Specialist/Office Coordinator to join our team at Ames Copper Group LLC.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, purchasing, and/or administrative responsibilities, with a strong background in Microsoft Office Suite.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Entering vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner into our ERP system
  • Preparing vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records for review
  • Identifying opportunities to maximize efficiency in the accounts payable processes
  • Managing/coordination set-up requests for new vendors into our local enterprise system
  • Researching and resolving invoicing issues on purchase orders
  • Supporting Maintenance and Operations with purchasing duties, including processing purchase requests to purchase orders, and ordering of maintenance storeroom parts
  • Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, bank and credit card statements
  • Assisting with external audits on an as needed basis
  • Supporting plant leadership team with administrative duties

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, purchasing, and/or administrative responsibilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Self-starter, motivated, diligent, and detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • High School degree, or equivalent
