Job Description

Beaches Tanning Center, a leading provider of tanning services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Colorado location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager in achieving overall goals and objectives
  • Train and develop Associate and Assistant Managers to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
  • Analyze and provide monthly sales outcomes and growth opportunity strategies to the Operations Manager
  • Conduct regular evaluations with all store employees to review performance, quality, and career progression
  • Responsible for the professional development of each employee, including monthly training and coaching
  • Create efficient schedules to ensure excellent customer service and minimize wasted labor hours
  • Ensure the store is open on time every morning and cover any uncovered shifts as needed
  • Ensure all team members adhere to company standards and best practices
  • Produce a strong, knowledgeable, and reliable management team
  • Resolve or escalate customer service issues in a timely manner
  • Resolves and/or reports employee issues with upper management
  • Prepare and compose a meeting agenda for monthly store meetings to set clear expectations and encourage input
  • Ensure inventory and ordering needs are addressed
  • Responsible for reviewing and submitting payroll on time and reporting discrepancies to the Operations Manager
  • Maintain a clean facility and report maintenance issues
  • Oversee all facility operations, including maintenance, technology, inventory, and more
  • Support a positive and respectful learning environment
  • Support company marketing efforts with approved language and visual displays

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Moderate grammar, math, and computer skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; or 4+ years of related industry or retail experience
  • 1+ year of management experience, or at least 6 months of Beaches management experience
  • History of revenue increases preferred
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work 40 hours per week, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical demands: constant moving, standing, talking, hearing, reaching, and bending over to clean a tanning bed for up to 8 hours at a time
