Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily care needs, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
  • Pass medications as directed by physicians
  • Perform light housekeeping duties as needed
  • Engage residents in activities and encourage participation in community events
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping and infection control procedures
  • Assess residents' conditions and communicate changes to supervisors
  • Complete required documentation and charting
  • Communicate effectively with families, support services, and colleagues
  • Assist other team members with their duties

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with the elderly preferred
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Every other weekend required
