As a key member of our global HR team, you will be responsible for overseeing HR operations, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to North America HR personnel, allocating work and performance against goals.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
  • Ensure total compliance with local, state, province, and federal regulations for all North America.
  • Coordinate with all members of the Global HR team to resolve escalated HR matters related to North America employees.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and development.
  • Assist in managing HR-related organizational changes, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring efforts within North America.
  • Keep up to date with benefits as compared to competitors; research costs, plans, etc. and present to Head of HR to discuss and/or implement.
  • Update North America handbook with new policies and procedures, and send out revisions as necessary.
  • Coach managers on handling disciplinary issues, work-related conflicts, and performance concerns; assist with the development of performance improvement plans.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team on hiring efforts resulting in effective people management of the team.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Support Company values by keeping information confidential and promote a strong culture within the HR team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, province, and federal regulations in North America.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
