About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at the ASPCA. As a key member of our Community Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to animals in need.

As a Veterinarian at the ASPCA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of animals and their families. You will work collaboratively with our experienced team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care and promote animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, quality preventive and basic care to patients
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, treatment recommendations, and delivery
  • Prescribe medications and provide discharge information
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement medical protocols
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in veterinary medicine

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent)
  • Current veterinary licensure in state(s) of selected location(s), or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
  • Fear Free certification required within 60 days of hire
