Per Diem Veterinarian - Community Medicine

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Veterinarian to join our Community Medicine team. This role will provide relief/fill-in services at our stationary clinic in New York, Miami, or Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume spay/neuter and preventive care services, as well as excellent clinical skills and a passion for providing essential veterinary care to animals in need.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

- Perform routine medical procedures, such as vaccinations and check-ups, to ensure the health and well-being of pets and their owners.
- Collaborate with the CM team to develop and implement effective strategies to address animal welfare issues in underserved communities.
- Participate in staff training and education programs to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as low-cost spay/neuter services and mobile veterinary clinics.

What You'll Get:

This per diem role pays $880 per 8-hour shift and may be modified in the future. As a member of the ASPCA team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive compensation package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current veterinary licensure in good standing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
