We welcome candidates with experience in HSI/MSIs and/or those who are proficient in languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or Yoruba.
Position Overview: The Interdisciplinary Studies Program within the Toulouse Graduate School at the University of North Texas invites applications for the position of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Quantitative Interdisciplinary Studies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching graduate courses that apply quantitative methodologies in social sciences, business, or digital humanities for the interdisciplinary studies graduate degree/concentration.
Candidates are expected to manage a course load of 3-4 courses per semester, with the possibility of course load reduction for scholarly and professional activities, program advising, course development, program development, or other professional development and service activities, such as expanding the program and collaborating with industry leaders.
Actual course loads will be assigned based on program needs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.Minimum Qualifications: A terminal degree with a strong emphasis on a field utilizing quantitative methods, such as Data Analytics/Science, Economics, Digital Humanities, Operations Research, Technical Communication, Decision Sciences, Quantitative Social Science, or other relevant disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants employing analytic methods in business, government, or scientific contexts, as well as those with an interdisciplinary academic background.
