Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) is a leading biomedical research organization dedicated to advancing our understanding of living systems and improving human health. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Associate to join our team in the lab of Dr. Michelle Wang at Cornell University.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research projects investigating DNA-based biological processes at the intersection of physics and biology. Our lab has developed cutting-edge single-molecule manipulation techniques, and the candidate will have access to these tools, as well as in vivo techniques currently under development.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in physics, biophysics, applied physics, engineering, or a related field.

  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to research work with an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Proficiency in computer programming and data analysis.
