Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral associates to join the Nwosu Lab in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. Research OpportunitiesThe Nwosu Lab is focused on understanding the role of glutathione in pancreatic cancer, with a particular emphasis on delineating its mechanisms and therapeutic implications. We are seeking postdoctoral associates to contribute to this research effort, which involves a multidisciplinary approach incorporating cell culture, gene interference, biochemical assays, pharmacological compounds, and mouse models. Successful candidates will have access to existing data and will be encouraged to participate in career development activities within and outside the university.
QualificationsApplicants must hold a PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry, tumor immunology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field. Experience in cell culture, cloning/molecular techniques, and mouse work is essential. Basic knowledge of cancer biology is required, and experience in cancer research and bioinformatics analysis is desirable but not essential. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong track record of scholarly work, including prior grant/fellowship applications or awards, conference presentations, and publications.
