Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker Sr. to join our team at the Colville Tribes. As a key member of our social services department, you will provide professional social work services to students and families, promoting healthy relationships and supporting individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychosocial assessments and diagnoses to offer treatments and environmental manipulations in school, home, and community-based settings.
  • Develop and implement case management plans to address the needs of elderly and disabled individuals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, pupil personnel service providers, families, and agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Conduct socio-environmental analyses and prepare social and family histories.
  • Design and develop behavioral and instructional objectives for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and other practitioners in small group settings and one-on-one conversations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, with two years of social work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in the Behavioral Sciences with five years of experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for Tribal Insurance.
  • Ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience working with addictions and recovery.
  • Knowledge of theories of human behavior and group dynamics.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, pupil personnel service providers, families, and agencies.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to walk to project locations, stand for extended periods, and bend and stoop for limited periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer and work with various software.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
