About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Expert to support our government customer in Falls Church, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to define and assess key partners across the organization, teaming partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a communications plan for the organization to define key communications vehicles, messaging, and engagement metrics.
  • Develop branding strategies to strengthen the organization's brand within the organization and externally.
  • Analyze messages and processes to ensure effective communication aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Provide technical writing, copy-editing, and proofreading of various communications materials.
  • Collaborate with other communications team members to create high-quality work products.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience providing communications support for a large complex organization.
  • Experience developing communications plans and products for federal government customers.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong ability to speak confidently and effectively in public, virtual platforms, and over the phone.
  • Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or a related discipline.
