Lead Carpenter - Residential Construction

A leading Residential Construction company in the area is seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee and execute various construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in carpentry tasks such as framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and custom finishes.
  • Demonstrate advanced carpentry skills and techniques to maintain high-quality craftsmanship throughout the project.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any carpentry-related issues that may arise during construction.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters and laborers, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure efficient and effective performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of workmanship and materials to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Implement quality control measures and address any deficiencies promptly to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to residential construction, safety standards, and building codes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter in residential construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used in residential carpentry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
