Delta Star is a leading manufacturer of medium power transformers and mobile transformer substations. We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in a Full-Time, On-site, Hourly position. Responsibilities include setting up and operating carpenter shop machinery, using computer-controlled equipment to select position and secure automatic or semiautomatic machines, and maintaining records, tools, and inventory of materials associated with the operation of the whole Carpenter Shop. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The successful candidate will be able to train all lower level classifications and work under no supervision.
