About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Afterhours AIM team at Curo Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patient needs over the phone until a nurse can provide an in-person visit
  • Respond to crisis calls from patients and families after hours
  • Make the initial nursing evaluation in determining eligibility for palliative services
  • Identify patient/family physical, psychosocial, emotional, and environmental needs and re-assess as needed
  • Collaborate with patient/family, attending physician, and other members of the IDG in providing patient and family care
  • Timely document problems, goals, interventions, and patient/family response to palliative care
  • Maintain accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding the patient's condition
  • Communicate effectively with members of the AIM team, clinical supervisor, and patient's PCP regarding changes in patient status and/or patient needs
Requirements
  • Associates/Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of prior skilled Registered Nurse experience
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care
  • Nursing experience in palliative care, oncology, hospice, or geriatric care preferred
  • Additional experience in hospital Staff RN, Med Surg, PACU, Float pool, ER or emergency room, critical care, acute care, cardiac, geriatric, admissions, wound care, telemetry or travel nursing
