Job Summary

The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst to join the Contract Management Unit. As a Contract Analyst, you will be responsible for providing oversight and support for all aspects of contract management, including invoicing, budget review and approval, billing/payments, troubleshooting, communication, and contract evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and manage comprehensive statistical and narrative reports, and develop data products to present FPS data, track and report outcomes for various audiences.
  • Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis with large datasets, information data processing, data scrubbing and statistical data adjustments.
  • Analyze data results, identify patterns and trends in data sets, and effectively report findings to both ACS and contract partners.
  • Utilize data to create meaningful tools to ensure providers are held accountable to contract requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal Quality Assurance methods to identify key variables and inform future performance.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field.
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in one or a combination of the following areas: budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation or fiscal management; or a related area.
