The dietitian will engage in collaborative treatment planning for all patients and deliver nutritional education to patients, families, and healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating the health and dietary requirements of patients.
  • Formulating personalized nutritional plans for patients.
  • Advising patients on nutrition and healthy dietary practices.
  • Assessing and monitoring the impact of dietary interventions and modifying plans as needed.
  • Creating tailored meal plans for patients with unique dietary needs.
  • Documenting nutritional plans and tracking patient progress towards health objectives.
  • Reviewing meals for adherence to prescribed dietary guidelines and taste standards.
  • Assisting food service managers with hygiene, safety protocols, and menu planning.
  • Establishing policies to facilitate the implementation of nutrition programs.
Essential Competencies
  • Expertise in dietary practices and principles.
  • Strong analytical skills to apply nutritional science effectively.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in relevant technical skills, including software applications and nutritional assessment tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field (4 years).
  • State Licensure as a Dietitian.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
