Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources, ensuring timely completion and effective use of resources.
  • Client Relationship Building: Work directly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Tax Research and Analysis: Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers, staying up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations.
  • Team Development and Training: Provide training, direction, and supervision to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Business Development: Build new client relationships and maintain existing ones, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Performance Management: Manage book of business, including budgets and production goals, ensuring alignment with firm objectives.
  • Consulting and Special Projects: Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients, demonstrating expertise and value.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized and detail-oriented, with a working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
