ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vital member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, the Aircraft Body Repair Specialist will support the Paint Technicians in preparing aircraft surfaces for painting. This position is ideal for individuals with foundational skills in auto body work, restoration, or automotive painting who are eager to develop a long-term career. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing surfaces and bodywork components for priming
  • Blocking primed components
  • Executing wet lay-up procedures
  • Masking parts that are ready for painting
  • Completing all required documentation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the body shop and staging areas
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in bodywork and/or automotive painting or preparation is advantageous
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • High standards for following instructions, attention to detail, and quality of work
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and navigate the facility as necessary
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, organized, and driven
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
