Job Overview


As a pivotal member of the GPO organization for Deal Management, the ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the transactional processes within Oracle's quoting and contract systems.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Project Management, Data Analysis, Quoting Systems, and Contract Assembly.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration among cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, including Deal Management, Global Revenue Operations, and Technical Development.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex business processes and system functionalities, including CPQ and DAS.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects while addressing daily operational requests.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset to assess data and processes for efficiency improvements.
  • Ability to make objective assessments and take decisive actions when necessary.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities


Act as a liaison among various divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, and Risk Management to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.

Collect, input, verify, and analyze data to evaluate key performance indicators against business objectives. Provide insights regarding economic impacts and compliance issues related to significant business decisions.

Communicate Oracle's Business Practices across the organization and oversee processes to ensure full compliance. Lead the implementation of new processes and procedures.


Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    Work effectively within an Agile framework to deliver initiatives that provide value iteratively, ensuring project milestones are met through sprints.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects while maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee the successful validation, comprehension, and execution of projects, including strategic initiatives and enhancements to systems or processes.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business partners and IT to guide system and process implementation strategies.
  • Represent global Deal Management processes and systems, acting as the primary resource for technical flows and related changes.
  • Provide regular updates to business partners and leadership using tools such as Zoom, Confluence, Jira, and PowerPoint.
  • Work independently with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to deliver effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with management to define success criteria and metrics to monitor post-implementation ROI.

Business Analytics:
  • Comprehend complex business flows and problem statements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements.
  • Investigate and summarize bugs and issues, ensuring timely updates.
  • Proficiency in Excel is preferred (including pivots, formulas, and vlookups).

Release Management:
  • Develop and execute test plans for system functionality releases.
  • Document and deliver comprehensive user guides, training materials, and change enablement resources.
