Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide crisis intervention services. This role requires flexibility as the individual will float between similar units based on operational needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with patients in crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain knowledge of adult and child protective services, emergency detention protocols, and guardianship procedures.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in crisis counseling.
  • Certifications: BLS and LCSW are mandatory.
  • Availability to float between units as needed, particularly during low census periods.

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient clinics, private practices, or psychiatric hospitals. The average daily census is approximately 10 patients, with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1:4.


Facility Information:

This position is within a short-term acute care facility, equipped with 325 staffed beds and utilizing EPIC for charting.
