Job Title: Caregiver

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring clients receive a balanced diet
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature
  • Assist with mobility and exercise, including range of motion exercises and walking assistance
  • Transport clients to medical appointments and engage in outdoor activities
  • Document observations and report any significant changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing or relevant supervisor
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, BLS CPR card, and up-to-date TB test
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull
  • Ability to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds
