Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Kentucky Blood Center Inc. in Somerset. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for assisting volunteer donors during the registration, medical screening, and phlebotomy processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist donors during the registration and medical screening processes
  • Collect blood samples from donors using phlebotomy techniques
  • Travel regularly with a team to various sites within Kentucky
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and interact effectively with the public

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years with high school diploma/equivalent
  • Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process
  • Related training and education are a plus
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screen
