Construction Risk Management Specialist

At Alexander & Schmidt, a Construction Risk Management Specialist performs on-site inspections of commercial construction sites to ensure compliance with insurance underwriting requirements. The Specialist prepares detailed reports to guide underwriters in selecting profitable business and assist insureds in controlling losses through demonstrated value of loss control services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough on-site inspections of commercial construction sites
* Prepare detailed reports on site conditions, risks, and mitigation strategies
* Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate risk assessment and selection of profitable business
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with insureds to provide value-added loss control services

Requirements:

* 3-5 years' experience in construction project management, safety, or insurance risk management
* Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
* Ability to travel within a reasonable territory (60-mile radius)
* Professional certifications (CSP, CCM, CSM, CSMC, CSD) preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
